The Adventure Map
A custom-designed Adventure Quest map for Mia Alpina Zillertal Family Retreat, created as a playful and intuitive world for children and families.
A Story-Led Map Built Around the Hotel Identity
The Adventure Quest map was specially created by our design and web design team for Mia Alpina Zillertal Family Retreat.
Since the hotel already has its own mascot — the squirrel “Alpina” — it naturally became the main character of both the story and the map.
While designing the map, it was important for us to preserve and continue the existing visual identity of the hotel.
A Playful World for Children & Families
We recreated the resort’s landscape and atmosphere in a playful cartoon-style adventure world designed especially for children and families.
The result is a map that feels connected to the real location while transforming it into an engaging visual experience full of exploration and imagination.
Easy to Follow, Fun to Explore
All quest stations are clearly marked on the map, making the experience intuitive and easy to follow.
At every station, participants encounter new puzzles and challenges waiting to be solved.
Languages & Difficulty Levels
The map was developed in both German and English and created in multiple difficulty levels to suit different age groups and play styles.
Designed for families with children approximately 4–10 years old.
Designed for older children from around 9 years old who can complete the quest independently.
