ESCAPE ROOM “RAUB IM SALZLAGER”

The escape room "Raub im Salzlager" was set in a historic castle in the heart of the Old Town of Hall in Tirol. For over 700 years, salt mining flourished in Hall in Tirol and the picturesque Halltal, significantly enriching the city. Once highly valued and referred to as "white gold," salt was one of humanity's oldest food sources and served as a form of currency, playing a crucial role in the region's history. Our goal was to create an immersive experience that highlights this rich heritage, focusing on the importance of salt—a vital yet often overlooked aspect of the area. This escape room is designed to engage and educate customers while providing entertainment. Featuring a mediaeval aesthetic and sound effects reminiscent of a lively mediaeval market, the room incorporates various types of locks, including barn locks, magnetic locks, and electric props, making it accessible and enjoyable for players of all ages.
