About the Project
Mia Alpina is a premium family hotel located in the heart of the Zillertal Alps in Austria. The hotel combines modern alpine lifestyle, wellness, entertainment and family experiences, creating memorable holidays for both children and parents.
Known for its warm atmosphere, extensive kids’ activities and strong family-oriented philosophy, Mia Alpina focuses on creating experiences that families remember long after their stay.
What We Created
For Mia Alpina, we designed and developed a fully interactive children’s adventure quest across the hotel territory with two difficulty levels: 4–9 years and 9+ years.
The experience was available in two languages — German and English.
The main character of the adventure was Alpini — the hotel’s squirrel mascot — who needed help finding his lost nut. Young guests explored the territory by completing playful stations, solving tasks and following clues placed throughout the hotel area.

Memorable Final Touch
At the end of the adventure, every participant received a branded Mia Alpina coin or nut — a collectible souvenir and reminder of their holiday and hotel stay.
We carefully adapted the entire experience to the existing branding and atmosphere of the hotel, preserving the warm alpine family style of Mia Alpina while adding interactive storytelling and gamification elements.
